China RoHS Consulting
China updated its restrictions on hazardous substances in electronics in 2024 (SJ/T 11364-2024) — the list now matches EU RoHS's 10 substances and became fully mandatory on January 1, 2026. If you sell into China, much of your EU RoHS test data can be reused; we manage the differences, particularly EFUP marking.

We don't sell you a magic China RoHS certificate — we manage a documentation process backed by real laboratory test reports, so you don't get stuck at Chinese customs.
What TICQA Provides
We take ownership of the entire process, from determining what's reusable from your existing EU RoHS data to preparing documentation in the Chinese format: any missing tests are completed through our accredited laboratory infrastructure under our direct coordination, and we apply the EFUP marking ourselves. You deal with the same contact throughout, with no handoffs along the way.
How the Process Works
Hazardous Substance Content Table
We declare your product's hazardous substance content in a table matching the SJ/T 11364-2024 format.
EFUP Marking
We apply the EFUP symbol correctly — showing how many years the product can be used safely — as a physical label or QR code/digital display.
Testing and Documentation
Required testing runs through our accredited laboratory infrastructure, with results documented in the format required for the Chinese market.
What We Need From You
- Product sample (in the quantity/size needed for testing)

- Existing EU RoHS test reports, if any
- Information on expected product lifespan (for EFUP estimation)
What You'll Receive
- Hazardous substance content table in SJ/T 11364-2024 format
- EFUP symbol/label file

Frequently Asked Questions
Is China RoHS the same as EU RoHS?
Not exactly, but as of the 2024 update the restricted substance list now overlaps with EU RoHS. The main difference is the content table format and EFUP marking.
Who determines the EFUP period?
The manufacturer sets the EFUP period, based on the estimated time the product can be used safely without hazardous substances leaking. We guide you through this assessment.
If I already have an EU RoHS report, do I need to retest?
In most cases, much of your existing test data can be reused; the main additional work is adapting the data to the Chinese format and adding EFUP marking.
